In this article, I am going to show you How to Install PearOS Monterey on VirtualBox on Windows 11/10 PC. PearOS Monterey is the Linux distribution based on Ubuntu Linux 20.04 LTS and K.D.E. It contains tons of free and open-source software that matches the appearance of macOS. Let me clear that it is very similar to mac operating system.
PearOS Monterey is a very free and lightweight operating system that you can also install on Windows 10 or 11 without any restriction. You canʻt install it on a physical computer but you can take help of virtual machines like VMware and Virtualbox. They allow you to install any operating system virtually and use that with its full features and functionalities.

Get Required Files
Create PearOS Monterey Virtual Machine
Step 1: First open your computer and then Open VirtualBox and click on the New.
Click On The New Step 2: Type name as PearOS Monterey and select the from type as Linux and from version select as oracle and click on the Next.
Click On The Next Step 3: Now, increase the memory size and click on the Next.
Click On The Next Step 4: Select the Create a Virtual hard disk now and click on the Create.
Click On The Create Step 5: Select the VDI(Virtual Disk Image) and click on the Next.
Click On The Next Step 6: Select the Dynamically allocated and click on the Next.
Click On The Next Step 7: Select where you save your file and increase the size and click on the Create.
Click On The Create Step 8: Click on the Setting and go to General and go to Advanced and from both of them select the Bidirectional.

Click On The CD Icon Step 12: Select the PearOS Monterey file and click on the Open.
Click On The Open Step 13: When all thing is done then click on the Start.
Click On The Start Step 14: Now, click on the Start.
Click On The Start Step 15: Double click on the pearOS Montereys logo to start the installation.
Double click on the pearOS Montereys logo Step 15: On the Welcome wizard click on the Next.
Click On The Next Step 16: Select your location where you live and click on the Next.
Click On The Next Step 17. Select your keyboard layout and click on the Next.
Step 18. Select the Erase Disk and click on the Next.
Step 19. Type your name and Password and click on the Install.
Step 20. Now, wait for the installation completed.
Step 21. Once installation is complete then click on the Done to restart your virtual machine.
Step 22. Now, enter your computer password.
Step 23. Now, PearOS Monterey is downloaded on the virtual machine.
